On Saturday, Oregon running backs Jordan James and Bucky Irving each ran for 100 yards in Oregon’s 38-24 win over Washington State.
James had 13 rushes on the day for 103 yards and zero touchdowns. It was the second straight game where he had over 10 rush attempts after the previous four games saw him with seven or under.
University of Oregon athletics videographer Scott Anderson knows all too well how hard it is for defenders for to bring down James despite him being 5-foot-10, 205 pounds.
During a play on Saturday, James got loose in the backfield as he recovered from an initial stumble to break one tackle, run past another would-be tackler, and then stiff-arm another Washington State defender as he got pushed out fo pounds.
That push sent him right into videographer Scott Anderson who was recording the play and now he is in need of a new camera as a result.
Ouch.
