Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher, intentional or not, briefly stole the spotlight in the Aggies’ home game against the Auburn Tigers on Saturday.
In the fourth quarter of the Aggies-Tigers game, Auburn linebacker Eugene Asante scooped up a fumble and returned it 67 yards for a touchdown. As you can see in the clip below, Fisher was curiously standing on the field of play during Asante’s touchdown run:

Per ESPN’s Dave Wilson, Fisher stated after the game that he “thought the play was dead”, adding that he was “lucky I didn’t get ran over.”

The Aggies’ rushing game and defense powered the way to victory on Saturday. Texas A&M rushed for 209 yards on 33 carries, and the stingy defense limited Auburn to just 200 yards of offense.
