Recent reports have suggested that the Raiders and Chargers are the likeliest landing spots for Jim Harbaugh should Harbaugh choose to leave the University of Michigan and return to the professional ranks.
It appears those reports are true that hs career in Michigan will come to an end.
After The Wolverines face the Washington Huskies on Monday night in NRG Stadium in Houston, reports state Harbaugh will be leaving the University of Michigan.
ESPN’s college football analyst, Paul Finebaum, says that Harbaugh is 100 percent leaving.
“This isn’t a mystery. Jim Harbaugh will not be there…,” Paul Finebaum said.
“He’s heavily in demand by the NFL. And I think that’s a scary thing, though. Because unlike the past couple of playoff appearances where he was tight and making really stupid decisions — I mean, this guy lost to TCU last year, which became a punchline for every pundit in the country this year during the CFP conversation about FSU.
That, to me, is the intangible. Jim Harbaugh, really, doesn’t have anything to fear.”
The Ringer founder Bill Simmons added that Harbaugh will land with the Commanders.

Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero are reporting the Chargers are believed to be among the interested teams in Harbuagh with the Raiders being another possibility.
The expectation is that Harbaugh will wait until after the National Championship game before focusing on potential NFL opportunities. This could mean that Harbaugh will collect himself and make an announcement by Jan 14th, which is the end of next week.
Harbaugh reportedly has a new contract on the table for him at Michigan, but he’s yet to take it and that is very telling.
