Jim Harbaugh dropped a massive hint on his future after coaching the Michigan Wolverines to a National Championship win on Monday night.
The Wolverines put in a dominant performance over Washington, moving the ball on the ground as they employed the run game against a Huskies defense that simply had no answer for it.
Following the 34-13 victory, Harbaugh spoke to ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt and suggested he plans to be back in Ann Arbor next season as he intends to push spring training back a month, given that they typically start around Valentine’s Day.

He refused to be drawn into speaking about a potential return to the pros, however.

“Like I said the other day, I hope to have a future. I hope there’s a tomorrow, a day after tomorrow, a next week, a next month, a next year.”
Whatever Harbaugh plans to do could be affected by the NCAA’s decision as it pertains to its sign-stealing investigation. That could end up being the determining factor.
