A Florida cornerback is getting roasted online after allowing an 85-yard touchdown because he decided to quit on a play.
Jason Marshall Jr. is likely set for a tongue-lashing from his coaches following a lazy moment against Vanderbilt that saw him allow the Commodores a TD they did not have to score on Saturday.
Lining up against Will Sheppard on the left side during the first quarter, Marshall allowed a catch off a 20-yard throw from Ken Seals but could have still made a play to stop things right there. Instead, he made no such attempt and didn’t try chasing down either, only jogging downfield to feign effort, leading to an easy score.

It would appear that Marshall switched off because he got his mask grabbed.
Still, it’s no excuse, and fans were in no mood to take it easy on him.

Fortunately for him, the Gators had a 31-14 lead at the time of writing and looked to be in complete control.
