At the college level of football, there have been some massive hits that leave you worried about the player who took the hit. However, during JMU’s Week 1 Matchup against the Charlotte 49ers, quarterback Alonza Barnett lll delivered a flop that left everyone in disbelief.
During a routine post-play chirping battle between the teams, a Charlotte player came over and lightly shoved Barnett, and he took full advantage of it, falling to the ground, doing a reverse summersault, and rolling all over the floor, which drew a flag.
Then, to add to the comedic effect, an offensive lineman came over and gave Barnett chest impressions until he got back up.
Of course, the hilarious moment went viral on social media and everyone started making jokes.
“Thank God he survived. Good thing #79 was there or it could’ve been a completely different story,” one comment said.
“Luckily the offensive lineman was there to resuscitate him. Quick thinking saved his life. Hopefully the defender faces charges,” another said about the hit on Barnett.

“The second flip is just unbelievable. The lineman administering CPR takes this clip to the next level,” a third added.
“This is the greatest hit ever in history. Sent the man spinning , flipping and twirling with just a tap on the dudes shoulders. That’s a strong lineman.” a fourth joked.
All of the flopping actually caused Barnett to receive an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
