The Florida State Seminoles lost 20-17 to Jacksonville State on Saturday evening at Doak S. Campbell Stadium. It was a terrible loss that came by way of a 59-yard touchdown pass from JSU quarterback Zerrick Cooper to Damond Philyaw-Johnson as time expired.
Florida State was 26-0 all-time against Division I-AA/ FCS schools since the NCAA split in 1978 entering tonight’s game.
Following the huge win, a bunch of Jacksonville State players ran out on the field and planted their flag.
The loss for FSU came just five days after it fought Notre Dame to the wire before losing in overtime.
