Jackson State’s mascot got flagged for a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty in Sunday’s game against Bethune-Cookman.
You read that correctly.
The moment happened after Jackson State’s Jordan Johnson hauled in a long touchdown pass, which caused a pile-up of teammates, which included Jackson State’s Tiger mascot. He seemed to try and pull players off the WR.
Refs didn’t like it, and he got a flag.
