It looks like Deion sanders won’t have many fans back in Jackson State now that he is getting set to be the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes.
Before he could make that announcement, the Jackson State Tigers hammered Southern 43-24 at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium as Sanders led Jackson State football to its second straight SWAC Championship.
During that home game, footage from the stands showed JSU fans singing a song by King George named ‘Keep On Rollin’ that was aimed at Sanders while he was on the sidelines.
Some of the lyrics that they are singing:
“If you wanna go, baby
Go ahead and walk out the door
One thing that you gotta remember
Is one monkey don’t stop no show”
Last weekend, Deion Sanders announced his decision to depart Jackson State University to become head coach at Colorado. The announcement came not even minutes after winning the SWAC championship.

Sanders went 27-5 at Jackson State, including 12-0 this season leading up to the Celebration Bowl on Dec. 17th which he plans to coach for his final game.
He upgraded Jackson’s State’s facilities and sold out stadiums. He also flipped a five-star recruit and showed that an HBCU was able to get down with the big boys.
There may be some anger, but you cannot deny the success.
