Life has been moving fast for J.J. McCarthy lately.
The quarterback kicked off his 2024 by winning a national championship with Michigan and has since declared for the NFL Draft. He’s now set to tie the knot in the not-too-distant future as he’s taken to Instagram this weekend to announce his engagement to longtime girlfriend Katya Kuropas.
J.J. and Katya have been together for around five years and are looking to make things official soon, much to the delight of fans online as the congratulatory comments have come rolling in.
“This man JJ is on a winning streak humanity hasn’t seen before,” one IG user wrote.
“Bro got 2 rings in 2 weeks congrats yall,” wrote another.
X, formerly Twitter, is a different beast, however. Many of the comments from over there were about McCarthy’s dad given that he went viral for sneakily touching his soon-to-be daughter-in-law’s butt last season.
