2020 has taken a lot of things, and it appears it has taken a relationship that seemed destined for marriage.
In August 2019, Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban got engaged. Fast forward to December 2020 and the Olympic skier and New Jersey Devils star announced in separate Instagram posts that they are breaking up after three years together.
“Over the past 3 years PK and I have had some incredible times together.” Vonn wrote. “He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal.
“However, after much consideration we have decided to move forward separately. We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time.”
Vonn, the 36-year-old ex of Tiger Woods, had actually re-proposed to Subban last December, which was four months after he popped the question, because, she said, “men should get engagement rings too.”
