Saturday’s Orange Bowl showdown between Georgia and Florida State got so out of hand that one Bulldogs player decided to go on Instagram live during the game.
As you can see in the screenshots below, Georgia defensive lineman Warren Brinson went on Instagram Live while his Bulldogs made easy work of the No. 5 ranked Seminoles.
The Bulldogs, winners of the last two national championship games, cruised to a 63-3 victory over Florida State. The Seminoles were missing a plethora of key players in the game, but nobody could have predicted a 60-point loss after winning their first 13 games.
There was plenty of controversy over the CFP’s committee to exclude the Seminoles from the four-team postseason. The four teams to qualify were the Michigan Wolverines, Washington Huskies, Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide.
We’ll obviously never know how far the Seminoles could have gone in the postseason if they had their four starters, but Saturday’s defeat was nonetheless a disappointing way to end their promising season.
