A frightening scene unfolded during tonight’s SEC battle between Florida and Kentucky as Gators quarterback Felipe Franks had to be carted off the field with an air cast on his leg after suffering a devastating ankle injury.
The injury took place during the third quarter, as Franks attempted to convert on a 4th & 1 but was taken down awkwardly before the line-to-gain.
It was such a brutal scene that ESPN refused to show a replay of it.
At the moment, the injury is being reported by ESPN as a dislocated ankle.
The Gators are currently trailing Kentucky in the fourth quarter, 21-16.
