He said what?!?!
During today’s Big 12 battle between West Virginia and the University of Central Florida, a wild pick led to quite the questionable comment from an FS1 commentator.
After John Rhys Plumlee’s ball bounced off of seemingly everything before landing in the hands of Beanie Bishop Jr., everyone in the stadium was still trying to process what they had just seen. That includes the FS1 announcing crew, who couldn’t seem to control their language while making the call.
It sure sounded like he said, “what a f- ing interception!” However, as many have pointed out on social media, what was actually said was, “what a freaking interception!”
Either way, it still made for some very dramatic (and hilarious) television.
