FOX Sports might be the reason many football fans stay home on a Friday night during the upcoming NCAAF campaign.
According to The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, the network will broadcast a college football game every Friday night in 2024, with matches to include teams from the Big Ten, Big 12, and Mountain West.
With SmackDown set to move from FOX to USA in October, Friday nights will be freed up for football. And the former expects higher ratings from a new NCAA package.
The move will not affect FOX’s ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ on Saturday.
According to Marchand, the network is keen on airing the most-watched college games on Fridays and Saturdays before it switches to the NFL on Sunday.

For football fans, this would mean that there will be a game every day except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays from either college or the NFL. With ESPN broadcasting MAC fixtures on some weeknights, there could be at least one game every day of the week during any given week.
