Four schools have been listed as potential transfer destinations for Arch Manning following news of Quinn Ewers possibly remaining at Texas next year.
Manning is being tipped to leave the Longhorns over lack of playing time, having failed to lock down the second-string spot role with the Longhorns.
The 18-year-old was not entrusted to start even while Ewers was out with an injury, with Maalik Murphy firing the team to a pair of wins in his two starts. And his outlook for next season doesn’t seem all that bright at the moment as it’s been reported that Ewers is unlikely to enter the NFL Draft in 2024.
Manning is still expected to stick around, but the NFL Rookie Watch account on X has drawn up a shortlist of four schools he could join if he ultimately decides to leave based on how he would fit.
LSU and USC are the top two as both their QBs, Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams, are set to head to the NFL. Arch would find himself in a great situation if he were to transfer to either of these programs.

Meanwhile, Kyle McCord looks increasingly unconvincing at Ohio State. The circumstances are similar at Alabama with Jalen Milroe despite the Crimson Tide’s streak of nine wins.
In any case, Manning is said to be happy with his decision to commit to Texas.
“Arch is happy with the decision he made. All the reports we get is that he’s doing well,” his grandfather, Archie Manning, told The Spun in a recent interview. “He’s going to get a redshirt out of this year, and I think that’s important.”
