The Michigan football family got some bad news this week over the loss of a beloved former player.
Former Michigan defensive lineman Craig Roh, who had a program-record 51 straight starts, has died. He was just 33-years-old.
Craig Roh, a Scottsville, Arizona native who chose to spend his college career in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan, passed away from stage IV colon cancer.
The former Wolverines defensive end kept the illness quiet until his wife revealed the tragic news on his X account.
Roh played defensive end for the Maize and Blue from 2009-2012.

For his career, the Michigan product recorded 100 defensive tackles and 34.0 sacks in 73 career games. He earned All-Big Ten honors as a senior in 2012.
After graduating from Michigan, Roh was signed by the Carolina Panthers and later played in the Canadian Football League, where he won a championship.
He would soon transition into a role where he was helping young athletes with technique and even wrote a book on block destruction while also forming a defensive end academy.
