Fans were left in utter disgust after coming across a photo of a former Michigan star drenched in sweat on the back of the Wolverines’ overtime win over Alabama on Monday.
The two schools went head-to-head in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day, with Michigan coming out on top after sending the contest to overtime.
The Big Ten Network’s Jake Butt appeared to have had a rough time during the game, which is understandable given the very nervy ending. What’s not understandable, however, is his choosing to wear nothing under his shirt.
A photo of the former tight end soaked in perspiration went viral online after the contest, though he won’t mind at all given the way the results went.
“Booty might have been the most nervous human being I’ve ever seen in OT,” On3’s Andy Staples joked. “Glad he made it out in one soggy piece.”

Butt was an All-American with Michigan, also winning the Ozzie Newsome Award in 2015. He went on to play for the Denver Broncos from 2017 to 2020 and was on the Chicago Bears’ practice squad in 2021.
The 28-year-old is now an analyst for the Big Ten Network.
Given that he’s likely to head to Houston for next week’s National Championship, he’d do well to shop for some cotton undershirts before packing for the trip.
