This week, Arthur Lunch was arrested in Blount County, Tennessee. He was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service on a warrant for felony sexual battery.
The former Miami Dolphins tight end had a sexual battery warrant put out since November.
The 31-year-old was a four-star recruit in Georgia’s 2009 recruiting class and played for years as he caught 56 passes for 907 yards and eight touchdowns during his time at Georgia. After he finished his college career, Lynch was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
His NFL career lasted just three years as he spent time with the Dolphins, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, and Atlanta Falcons, but mostly on the practice squads.
Lynch did not record any statistics in the NFL, as he never played in a game in the NFL.
