LSU football coach Ed Orgeron is a man who is respected by his current and former players, but that does not mean he is immune from getting called out for something he did or said.
In this particular case, his open support for Donald Trump.
Former LSU Tigers star K’Lavon Chaisson recently took to Twitter and called out Orgeron’s support for President Donald Trump when he appeared on FOX News to discuss the state of college football.
Orgeron was asked about President Trump mentioning him in a radio interview.
“It makes me proud,” Orgeron said. “I love President Trump. He treated us very well when we went to the White House. I think he’s doing a fantastic job.”
Chaisson, who is heading into his first NFL season as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, responded that while Orgeron is a “great man”, he is “blind to everything else.”
“Coach O is a great man and I know he didn’t mean any harm by this but he is the definition of only know and care about football,” Chaisson wrote. “He is blind to everything else. Fantastic job??”

Looks like both sides will have to agree to disagree.
Chaisson, the No. 20 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, signed his rookie contract last month that was worth $13.34 million and includes a $7.27 million signing bonus.
