Bri’onte Dunn once had a clear path in life to be great on the football field, but things did not pain out the way he had hopped and now he is headed down the wrong path.
The former Ohio State running back was arrested for drug possession as officers responding to the scene discovered a woman who had overdosed. Police administrated two doses of Narcan and she regained consciousness. The woman was later transported to a local hospital.
Two search warrants were obtained by authorities and they seized more than 20 grams of cocaine from the residence, where Dunn was, and arrested him, according to NBC4.
The former Ohio State running back from 2012-15 was dismissed from the program in July 2016 after a violation of team rules.
About a year after Dunn’s dismissal, he was accused of raping a woman in August 2017, but would be found guilty in 2018 and acquitted of three felony rap charges.
In four years at Ohio State, Dunn took 49 carries for 291 yards (5.9 average) and three touchdowns.
