The University of Kentucky football team advanced to 4-0 this season after defeating South Carolina on Saturday night. However, the biggest story of this game happened after the whistle had been blown.
UK linebacker DeAndre Square was chasing down Gamecocks quarterback Luke Doty, who made his way to the first-down marker before stepping out of bounds in front of UK’s sideline.
Square eventually slowed down to a light jog but he still decided to shove the equipment manager on the sidelines.
Some fans calling for disciplinary actions against Square. But Sunday morning, Square tweeted he apologized to Belcher and that they were on good terms.
Hours later, the equipment manager posted a photo of him and Square doing a “jersey swap,” as a way of mending fences and moving forward in good faith.
