New details have since emerged in the death of a young football player.
A police report shows that UNLV football player Ryan Keeler was prescribed medication days before his death. The report says he received medication on February 17 after reportedly telling a friend he had been feeling sick and nauseous since February 13.
The 20-year-old football player reportedly said he was “feeling a little better” during a visit on Feb. 19.
Unfortunately, he was found dead in his apartment last week when an assistant coach went to check on Keeler. The type of medication was redacted in the report.
According to the report, Keeler hung out and ate dinner with a friend the night before he was found unresponsive.
His cause of death is still unknown.
