Terrien Collins likely changed his life for the worst with one terrible decision that will follow him for the rest of his life if everything he is being accused of is found out to be true.
The Jasper football player recently had his letter of intent revoked after being arrested for aggravated sexual battery on a minor, according to KJAS Radio News.
“Pineland Police Chief Brad Turner said Monday that he could not comment on the case due to the fact that the investigation was continuing. However, he did say that the investigation began when the Pineland Police Department received an outcry from an alleged victim and that a suspect had been arrested in Hardin County.
Reliable sources have told KJAS that the case involves a 14-year-old girl and that another teen might be involved as well.”
The 18-year-old is said to be charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault and Unlawful Restraint Under 17 Years Old, with bond denied.
On top of that, powerhouse Division 2 college Texas A&M Commerce revoked the letter of intent of Terrien Collins, according to Draft Diamonds.
“Lion Athletics is aware of the very serious charges brought against a young man who had signed a letter of intent to participate in intercollegiate athletics at Texas A&M University-Commerce, the statement read. “In light of the grave nature of these allegations, he has been released from his letter of intent, and the young man will not be a Lion student-athlete nor admitted to the institution this fall.”
Collins, who is a senior, was scheduled to graduate this year.
