Nick Saban was involved in a car accident near Birmingham, Alabama, Friday afternoon, according to AL.com.
There were reportedly no injuries in the accident, which is being described as “minor.”
AL.com first reported the news:
“Alabama coach Nick Saban was involved a minor car accident Friday afternoon in the Birmingham area, sources told AL.com.
A UA spokesman said there were no injuries involved in the wreck.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office had no record of the accident, indicating that neither Saban nor the other driver filed a report.”
The accident happened prior to the start of the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. During that round, Alabama saw 2 former players get picked. Evan Neal was picked by the New York Giants at No. 7 overall, and Jameson Williams was picked No. 12 overall to the Detroit Lions.
Thankfully, everybody was okay.
