Emmanuel Duron just screwed up the rest of his sports career.
The Texas high school football player who went viral for attacking a referee has now been suspended from all sanctioned activities, including football, for the remainder of the school year, a University Interscholastic League panel ruled Monday.
The Edinburg High School senior punishment was for violation of prohibited interaction with a sports official during a December 3rd game.
Edinburg High School and head football coach J.J. Leija was also placed on probation for the 2021-2022 school year. Edinburgh’s athletic department was placed on probation for two years.
Duron was not only escorted out of the stadium by police, but he was arrested and charged with class A assault, a misdemeanor.
It was back on December 3rd when Duron came charging back on the field and attacked the ref after he was just ejected from the game.

Although his team won the game, they were removed from the playoffs because of his actions.
