Tragedy struck the New Orleans community earlier this week when Brittany Stevenson’s body was found in the driver’s seat of her car. Her vehicle had more 20 shots fired into it.
Stevenson played for the New Orleans Hippies, which is a women’s professional football team in the city. Stevenson played defense. In the 2018-2019 season, Stevenson led the team in sacks.
She was the second player on the team to be murdered just this year. She leaves behind a young daughter.
The Hippies are now offering a 25-hundred dollar reward for information.
Stevenson’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to give her a proper burial.
