It appears Nick Saban and Deion Sanders have moved past their differences concerning name, image, and likeness.
It seems like forever ago, but one of the major headlines of the college football offseason was the short-lived beef between Nick Saban and Deion Sanders. It started when the 7-time national champion claimed that Jackson State “paid a guy a million dollars” to play for their team and went unpunished.
Sanders blasted Saban after the comments were made during an interview.
“You best believe I will address that LIE Coach SABAN told tomorrow,” Sanders tweeted. “I was awakened by my son (Shedeur Sanders) that sent me the article stating that WE PAYED (Travis Hunter) a million to play at (Jackson State)! We as a PEOPLE don’t have to pay our PEOPLE to play with our PEOPLE.”
In a recently released video clip, Saban and Sanders are on the AFLAC set rocking blue blazers as it appears they are shooting another round of commercials for the upcoming college football season for the insurance company.
“Two [GOATs]. 1 [Duck]. No beef,” Sanders wrote on Instagram.
