Deion Sanders’ son, Deion Sanders Jr., has a message for players looking to use him to get a spot with the Colorado Buffaloes.
The senior Sanders is now in charge of the football program therein and has taken his son Shedeur too, with the pair leaving Jackson State together. Deion’s other son, Shilo, has opted to stay and is said to have been opposed to his father and brother leaving for Colorado. He even unfollowed them on social media due to his displeasure over the decision.
Meanwhile, Deion Jr. has let folks know that he can’t get them a spot on the program.
“I’m just letting y’all know… I can’t get anybody into Colorado,” he tweeted this week.
We can’t be sure why he felt the need to tweet that but it’s most likely as a result of people asking him to hook them up. And why shouldn’t they? A little nepotism can go a long way.
Hopefully, his tweet has brought an end to the requests, but we may have to monitor his activity on Twitter going forward. Things get interesting anywhere the Sanders men happen to be, especially when they’re together. A recent example came in the form of a hilarious exchange between Deion and Shedeur.

The 55-year-old head coach’s move from JSU to Colorado was a controversial one, to put it mildly. Sanders left the team after leading them to a 27-5 record in three seasons and was unveiled as the Buffaloes’ new man in charge on December 3.
He can definitely get you into Colorado, if that helps.
