Something about husky athletes playing sports always brings joy to others.
Such is the case this week when Nestor “The Foot” Higuera went viral when the 5-foot-5, 285 pound kicker came into a conference championship game and kicked a game winning field goal.
Arizona Christian won the Sooner Athletic Conference (NAIA) title on Saturday thanks to Higuera, who booted a 46-yard field goal to beat Southwestern Assemblies of God University and seal the championship for the Firestorm.

“After surrendering a game tying touchdown with under a minute to play, Arizona Christian marched down the field and Nestor Higuera converted the game winning field goal as time expired. The win locked up the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship for the Firestorm.”
Even former NFL punter Pat McAfee took notice of it:
Higuera went 37-for-39 on PATs this season and 7-of-10 on field goals, including this game-winner.
