Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was in a minor car crash earlier this week and had to be taken to a Dallas-area hospital as a precaution, according to multiple reports.
He avoided serious injury and we know that because TMZ Sports has just obtained video from that day showing a silver car attempting to make a left turn when the Dallas Cowboys owner, driving a dark colored sedan, slammed into the side of it.

More from TMZ:
“You can see in the clip, captured by Allen Roberson Jr., Jones seemed to have a slight limp — and at one point, he rolled up his pant leg to check out his knee area. His car, meanwhile, was left disabled in the middle of the road.
As Jones approached the silver car on foot … an occupant from the vehicle appeared to be complaining of some kind of head pain.
Ultimately, medical personnel arrived on the scene and transported Jones to a local hospital with what’s been described as minor injuries. Jones’ son, Stephen Jones, told multiple media outlets late Wednesday night that Jerry had already returned home a short time after being checked out at the medical facility and is doing fine.”

The crash involving Jones was the latest incident in a tumultuous offseason for the Cowboys. Earlier this year, a report came out that revealed the club paid a $2.4 million settlement to four Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders over allegations of voyeurism against a public relations director who retired a few weeks before the report. One week later, a woman who grew up in North Texas filed a lawsuit alleging Jerry Jones is her biological father.
The 79-year-old is in his 33rd year as owner of the Cowboys.
