Florida State star wide receiver Keon Coleman has revealed what he eats before every game.
Coleman is projected to be the second wide receiver drafted in 2024 behind Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. following what has been an impressive first season with the Seminoles on the back of his transfer from Michigan State.
The wideout has caught 38 passes for nine touchdowns and is averaging 14.2 yards per catch. While the stats don’t jump out at you, seeing him play definitely would as he has made some unbelievable receptions this term.
Coleman seems to be very specific with what he eats prior to a game as there are a few components he takes into consideration, including the location and kickoff time.
If FSU is playing a four o’clock game, he says he would eat a McDonald’s meal made up of two hot and spicy McChicken sandwiches with cheese and extra mayonnaise, medium french fries, 10-piece chicken McNuggets, and an Oreo McFlurry.

All of that adds up to a quick 2,300 calories translated to a worrisome afternoon for NCAA cornerbacks.
Should someone else eat what’s described above, they’re probably throwing up on the football field, if they can even wake up to play.
This sort of thing isn’t new among receivers, though. Chad Johnson was one of the best WRs to play in the NFL and ate McDonald’s before every game.
