It didn’t take long for us to get our first ejection for targeting of the 2020 SEC season.
In the very first quarter of the Florida-Ole Miss game, Gator safety Shawn Davis Jr. was kicked out of the game for this hit on an Ole Miss receiver.
Ole Miss wide receiver Dontario Drummond went up for the high pass from Matt Corral, and Davis came in and hit a “defenseless player” for targeting, the officials said.
When Davis got back to the locker room, he got his phone and reacted in real time to the call against him.
