As if having to pay top dollar for game ticket wasn’t expensive enough to begin with…fans attending Monday’s NCAA College Football Playoff National Championship have to shell out a lot of cash at the concession stands as well.
Fans at the Michigan Wolverines-Washington Huskies game at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas took to X/Twitter to reveal the ridiculous prices for food and drinks.
Brett McMurphy of the Action Network shared the insane prices that it will cost fans to eat or drink at NRG Stadium. This includes $16.55 for a premium draft beer, $14.95 for a premium bottled beer and $6.95 just for a bottle of water.
A bottled soda costs $7.85, while a Greek Hot Dog and Specialty Dog will cost $12.55 and $12.89, respectively. If you want to settle on the cheapest option, you can get a bag of chips for $3.45.
