On Saturday, the West Virginia Mountaineers welcomed the Kansas Jayhawks to Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium for a game that would not be decided until overtime.
Before we got there, a fan in the stands decided to become part of the story.
With seconds left to play, a fan threw a shoe onto the field as West Virginia found themselves near the goal line trying to tie the game.
In the video, you could see fans pointing in the direction of the fan who threw the shoe.
