The Dallas Cowboys are somehow still alive in the putrid NFC East.
The Cowboys kept their playoff dreams alive by beating the Philadelphia Eagles 37-17 with an offensive display that hadn’t been seen since quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending right ankle injury.
Quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 377 yards and had touchdown passes, while Ezekiel Elliott finally woke up to get his second 100-yard game of the season. Ezekiel Elliott even came through with 105 yards on 19 carries, including a season-long 31 yarder to salt the game away.
Elliott’s sister, Lailah Elliott, had a blunt message for her brother’s critics after the game:
“Don’t try to hop back on the train now,” she tweeted.
