P.K. Sam is calling out his old coach Bobby Bowden after his endorsement of President Donald Trump.
Bowden included praise for President Trump and urged people to vote for him during a statement that updated his recovery from COVID-19. President Trump later reacted to the endorsement and thanked Bowden for his support.
After seeing, the former Florida State wide receiver took to Twitter and blasted Bowden for being a racist.
“Told y’all Bobby Bowden was a racist! But he hid behind the bible for years so now…when his day comes I hope he remembers,” Sam wrote.
“And for all the ppl who don’t believe me I had old players from the 80’s reach out to me thanking me about what I said last time about BB,” Sam wrote. “This one high profile player mentioned how the “N” word was used by staff repeatedly. So do y’all want me to keep going?”

The former Florida State coach said in his letter that he wanted to stay alive so that he could vote for Trump.
“I want to thank all the many, many people who were thinking of and praying for me over the last few weeks,” Bowden said. “I just went through a battle with COVID-19 and God just wasn’t ready to take me home yet to be with him.
“Most of you know I’m 91 years old and the fight was tough. But thanks to the help of Dr. Michael Forsthoefel and the support of [wife] Ann and all my children I beat it.
“I’ve had the chance to get a lot of wins in my life but I really wanted to win this one because I wanted to be around to vote for President Trump.”
Bowden was Florida State’s coach from 1976-2009 and won 315 games with the Seminoles. FSU went to a bowl game in each of Bowden’s final 28 seasons with the team.
