There seems to be new evidence suggesting that Stetson Bennett never graduated from the University of Georgia despite attending college for nearly seven years.
The quarterback was selected in the fourth round of the recent NFL Draft, with the Los Angeles Rams using their No. 128 overall pick to bring him in after he helped fire the Bulldogs to two consecutive CFP national championships. But there’s now a rumor going around claiming he hasn’t graduated.
An Alabama fan posted the tweet below a few days ago, trolling the 25-year-old for never actually receiving a degree after attending college for as long as he had.
Of course, this is a very bad look if true. Not graduating from college after a four-year spell is bad enough, but close to seven? That’s just criminal. How is it even possible to make it through so many years of college without getting the credits required for a degree?
A video has since come out explaining that the QB never had an SEC graduate patch on his uniform and was never listed in this spring’s commencement.

This would be quite an impressive job by the folks at Georgia as keeping a 25-year-old QB eligible without him attending any classes over that long a span takes some doing. We really, really hope someone gets to the bottom of this soon enough.
