Football fans are in awe over a viral video of Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward perfecting the “Crossbar Challenge” with the simple flick of a wrist.
Ward is the consensus top quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, and a safe bet to be a top-five pick. There’s a realistic chance that the dual-threat star will go first overall to the Tennessee Titans, though they could even trade that pick to somebody who wants to take him with the No. 1 selection.
The 22-year-old Ward posted a video on his YouTube channel of himself working out with Colorado Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders (the consensus No. 2 quarterback in the class) at one of the SMU Mustangs’ athletic facilities.
There, Cam Ward left a ton of jaws dropping on the floor by completing the Crossbar Challenge with this 70-yard dime of a pass:

Ward had an excellent final college season in his one year with the Hurricanes, completing 67.2 percent of pass attempts for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions to go along with 204 rushing yards and four rushing scores.
Unlike previous years, there’s no clear-cut front-runner to go first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Other top prospects include Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter, Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter, Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham and George edge rusher Mykel Williams.
Which Teams Could Have Interest In Cam Ward?
If the Titans don’t want Ward with the No. 1 pick, other teams that could target him include the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns (if they’re finally ready to move on from Deshaun Watson), Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets (if they move on from Aaron Rodgers).
