Arch Manning is considered one of the top prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft, and it’s not just because of his famous bloodline, which includes Peyton and Eli, as well as Arch Manning (all of whom played in the NFL).
Manning showed off his raw arm talents during Texas’ recent spring game. The team split up and played each other in the Orange-White Bowl, which is drawing some crazy reactions online.
Fans can’t get enough of the young signal caller who is slated to back up fellow Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers, who decided to come back for another season under center after deciding not to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Manning threw for three touchdowns in the showdown, capping it off with a 75-yard touchdown bomb to Longhorns receiver Isaiah Bond. His other two scores were passes by caught playmakers DeAndre Moore Jr. and Jaydon Blue.
Should Arch Manning Start Over Quinn Ewers?
The phenomenal performance has fans calling for the Longhorns’ coaching staff to “make the right decision.” One fan stated that Manning is their “future QB,” and if we’re being honest, it’s not hard to see why.

One fan asked the question that’s on all our minds after seeing this mindblowing play orchestrated by Manning as he responded, “HOW DOES HE NOT START THIS YEAR?” and with throws like that, it’s a reasonable question to ask.
Manning only saw five total passes all last season in Texas, where he would complete just two of them for 30 yards, with his longest pass being 17 yards, but if he is given the chance to shine, there is no doubt that Arch could be the future on any QB-needy team come 2026.
