The Colorado Buffaloes pulled off a massive win against the UCF Knights on Saturday in a game where they were widely viewed as the underdog. One huge contributor to the game was two-way star Travis Hunter.
Hunter had an impressive interception during the third quarter while playing defensive back. He celebrated extremely fittingly by hitting the Heisman pose, making for one of the best college football photos ever.
Of course, once it hit social media, everyone said the same thing about his Heisman potential winning season.
“Travis Hunter hitting the Heisman pose is pure fire You can feel the confidence radiating from that photo He’s not just making a statement,” said one comment.
“If he doesn’t win it I’ll never take it seriously again. Ndamukong Suh was the first straw, Hunter getting stiffed would be the last,” said another.
“The fact he plays offense and defense incredibly well, should be him by a mile. That’s just unheard of nowadays,” added a third.

“If Colorado wins 8 or more games he is the Heisman winner. IDFC if a QB throws for 6k yards and is undefeated,” a fourth continued.
It was an excellent day for Hunter, who also reeled in nine receptions, 89 yards, and one touchdown with that interception.
Travis Hunter Has Impressed On Offense And Defense
Including the team’s most recent game, Hunter has accounted for 46 receptions, 561 yards and six touchdowns. Those numbers are already impressive enough to put you into a category as one of the best receivers in college football.
However, this is only magnified by the fact that he is just as productive on defense. So far this season, he has two interceptions and is locked down on almost every snap.
Hunter is quickly putting together one of the most impressive all-around seasons ever.
