Malika Andrews might not be the best when it comes to knowing her geography and it was on full display on Thursday night.
Michigan Head Coach Juwan Howard shared a touching moment last night after his son, Jett, got drafted into the NBA. The Orlando Magic added another piece to their backcourt by taking Michigan guard Jett Howard with the No. 11 pick.
As he gave his hugs to his friends and family, Malika made a comment about where he came from and where he is at now, but she got her cities completely wrong.
“From Lansing to the league.”
Howard played at Michigan, which is based in Ann Arbor, not Lansing.

His father, Juwan Howard, was taken No. 5 overall by the Miami Heat in 1994 and played in Orlando in 2003-04.
Howard in his lone season in Ann Arbor averaged 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and two assists per game as he was named third-team All-Big Ten by media as well as making the All-Freshman team in the conference.
The 6-foot-8, 215-pound wing scored in double figures 23 times, finished with more than 20 points four times, and dropped a career-high 34 points in an overtime road loss at Iowa in late January.
Jett can do it all and the Magic hope he can continue it in the league.
