ESPN gave certain fans some extra sugar during Monday night’s Sugar Bowl as they inadvertently put a woman on show at the exact moment she decided to flash her chest in the New Orleans streets.
Fans were shocked after witnessing a woman’s brave bargain for a set of beads while the camera crew headed out into Bourbon Street for some B-reel action during one of the many commercial breaks.
Such exterior footage is commonplace for ESPN and other sports broadcasters, though what we saw last night was a bit new. It’s not every time you get to see a female exposing her mammary glands out in the streets while a college football semi is being aired.
Clearly, they didn’t consider how spicy things could get on that particular stretch of road.
The Worldwide Leader in Sports has offered an apology following the gaffe, with spokesman Bill Hofheimer releasing a statement via the Associated Press.
“We regret that this happened and apologize that the video aired in the telecast,” he said.

We imagine most fans did not mind, though. In fact, many encourage this sort of thing.
Still, ESPN should consider another location in the future. Things can get wild on Bourbon Street.
