There is a world of difference between porn star Ron Jeremy and Will Ferrell’s Anchorman character Ron Burgundy, but that first name mixed up Andy Kennedy in a terrible way on Tuesday.
The ESPN NCAA basketball analyst was calling the Auburn at Arkansas men’s basketball game with play-by-play voice Tom Hart when he noticed someone in the crowd waving a picture of Burgundy’s head.
Kennedy described it as “Ron Jeremy,” which led to laughter by Hart.
“That’s a whole ‘nother channel.”
ESPN+ does offer some pay-per-view events, just not those kind of events.
