Fans have applauded Erin Andrews for her interview with Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders ahead of his team’s big win on the weekend.
Sanders’s name is on everyone’s lips this week after leading Colorado to a thrilling 45-42 win over the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday as he defied the odds to win his first game in charge of the team.
The Horned Frogs, the runners-up in the national championship game earlier this year, went into the game as a 21-point favorite while the Buffaloes were picked to be one of the worst teams in the Power 5. One analyst would even go as far as claiming they have the worst roster in college football.
Coach Prime has managed to silence the doubters, at least for the time being, and will hope to go 2-0 when he leads his team out against Nebraska on the weekend.
Andrews, meanwhile, was part of FOX’s coverage for college games this weekend and had an interview with Prime before the fixture which she posted to Instagram.
“Entire interview here!!! I love sports. Pretty damn honored to have done this sitdown right before @deionsanders @cubuffsfootball season debut,” she wrote as the caption.

Fans seemed taken aback by the post.
“So grateful to see a powerful woman asking the questions!?” one fan wrote.
“I think this might be the greatest clip ever,” said another.
Another user commented, “The only thing I love as much as football is the interviews you do. You’re the best, EA! I am ready for this season!”
The Buffs will host the Cornhuskers in their home opener at 12 noon on Saturday.
