Back on January 13th, 2020, the LSU Tigers defeated the Clemson Tigers 42-25 to win their first National Title since the 2007 season and LSU head coach Ed Orgeron’s wife, Kelly, was right there on the field to celebrate with her husband.
Those days are now over after Ed reportedly filed for divorce in East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court. The two have been married since 1997, but have been living apart since February 24th.
Via The Advocate:
“Orgeron filed the divorce petition Feb. 26 in East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court, stating he and his wife separated Feb. 24 “and have lived separate and apart without reconciliation since that date.”
The petition is titled “In the interest of the marriage of E.O. and K.O.” Their full names are used in the filing.
They were married Feb. 19, 1997, and have twins that were born Feb. 9, 1998, the petition states.”
Orgeron and Kelly raised three sons together, including two twins born in 1998.
