The college football season has been over for two weeks now, but fans have something to look forward to on that front.
Lovers of the college game, as well as the gaming community, got some massive news on Tuesday as EA Sports revealed the launch date for its upcoming NCAA College Football video game.
David Waters has cited sources as he reports that the title will be available for purchase on July 12, 2024, bringing an end to a drought that’s lasted over 10 years – the last such game was released in July of 2013.
The game was immensely popular among fans and gamers but discord over the use of players names, images, and likenesses saw to it being discontinued.
The introduction of the NIL program has provided an avenue for college athletes to get paid for the above. It’s also seen to the return of the beloved franchise, with the publisher announcing it in 2021.
The lengthy offseason should be a bit easier to bear now that there will be a game fans can turn to in the meantime.
