Travis Hunter Says It’s A “Blessing” To Be On The Cover Of ‘College Football 25’
Travis Hunter spoke to ESPN about being selected as one of the first cover athletes for the returning franchise.
“It’s just a blessing to be able to be on the cover,” he said. “We grew up watching this and looking at the covers, and now we’re on it. When I was young, I waited till 12 o’clock to get every NCAA. It was my favorite game by far. I still play the old NCAA 14 to this day.”
Hunter is heading into his second season with the Buffaloes following a 4-8 finish in 2023.
Every player featured in the game will receive $600 and a copy of the game on the console of their choice. The cover athletes and others who promote the game have separate contracts with EA.
Over 12,800 athletes have opted in, though Texas QB Arch Manning notably chose not to.
