Diego Pavia has some explaining to do.
Tensions are on the rise in the rivalry between New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico after an alleged video surfaced of the NMSU quarterback doing something quite disgusting.
Albuquerque NBC affiliate KOB 4 was the first to report about the incident and show a video that allegedly shows Aggie quarterback Diego Pavia urinating on the Lobo practice field. It happened sometime before the Aggies took on the Lobos during the rivalry game earlier this month.
The person recording the video can be heard cheering him on saying, “Yeah, 10!”
The number 10 is Pavia’s jersey number.
Pavia would lead the Aggies to a 27-17 victory over the Lobos.

Both the universities are now looking into the case.
Pavia is from Albuquerque and is currently in his second season at NMSU.
Pavia has not spoken out about the situation. He played last weekend against Hawaii, completing 9-of-15 pass attempts for 155 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 97 yards on the ground.
The team is currently 2-3 on the season and is on a bye this week. They will return to action on October 4 when they host FIU.
