Wednesday night was not only a bad night for the Duke Blue Devils, but for basketball fans in general after Zion Williamson went down in the first quarter, following him blowing right through his Nike shoe.
The Blue Devils freshman did not return for the remainder of the game and it did not look good. It brought about the conversation once again as to why college athletes can’t be paid or go straight to the NBA from high school, especially with the talent that Zion has.
DeMarcus Cousins was asked about that injury from last night and he ripped into college basketball as a whole and gave some advice to Zion.
